Time for Tea

After a long all-day rehearsal (which started after a yummy fry-up in a local cafe), Louise and I (and my Shih Tzu Honey) trotted over to meet Hazel from Plume Magazine at Time For Tea in Shoreditch.

Stepping into the 1930s tea room, we both instantly felt at home. We were greeted warmly by the charismatic Mr Johnny Vercoutre and his adorable Great Dane pup.
We made our way up to the delightfully decorated dining room for a long chat with the lovely Hazel. Isn’t it so easy to talk about oneself? (Or is it just me?)

Afterwards we went back downstairs for some delicious cake (the largest slices I ever attempted to eat!) and some much needed Earl grey and gunpowder tea, served in pretty little cups and saucers.
